Little Cottage Brewery Releases 2014

 

These continue Jon Shari's experiments with beer in 2014 as a homebrewer. There are seven beers (as of 2025.12.05) that were submitted to Untappd (and yes, you can create a "homebrewer" style account and post beer reviews there) - I'm not sure if there were other beers for this year - I'll update the list as I get more information. These are by submission date and with any notes if I have them. The Rumpkinilla collaboration with Ale Sharpton is worth noting - seems Jon's beer was already getting some notoriety in 2014.

2014.02.25 Brony - IPA - American 7.2%

2014.03.19 Touch of Death - Stout - Imperial/Double Oatmeal 13.5%

2014.03.19 Narcolepzzz - Porter - Imperial/Double 9.3%

2014.08.15 La Saison Des Fraises - Farmhouse Ale - Saison 4.5%

2014.09.06 Chubby Rain - Stout - Imperial/Double 12.5% (no wax)

--2014.10.15 Touch of Death - Stout - Imperial/Double 12.5% (red wax)

2014.10.31 Rumpkinilla (Collaboration w/ Ale Sharpton) - Pumpkin/Yam Beer 10.5%

1014.11.17 Sweet Potato Souffle - Pumpkin/Yam Beer - 6.5%

 

I'm not sure if these were only kegged or offered in bottles (most likely the latter using bottle conditioning) - it's doubtful that they were labeled (in later years Jon would sometimes bottle with a handwritten scrawl on the bottle).
